Merry Christmas to you all!

Wednesday, December 23, 2020

We just wanted to send you all our sincerest wishes for a happy and healthy Christmas and 2021.

Merry Christmas to you all!

What a year it has been!

Office closures

Please note the office is closed as from Midday today (Wednesday 23rd December 2020) and will reopen at 9am on Monday 4th January 2021.

During this time, if there is anything urgent please email [email protected] or [email protected] and we will endeavour to get back to you at our earliest opportunity.

31st January 2021 Self-Assessment Deadline

If you have already provided your records to us for the year ended 5/4/2020prior to the office closing we will ensure that your tax returns will be completed on time by 31st January 2021 so please bear with us, we will be in touch.

If you have not contacted us regarding your 5/4/2020 tax return nor provided records, unfortunately we cannot now guarantee that we will be able to submit your tax return on time. This year has been unprecedented in many ways, including the volume of work and pressure our staff have been under and we need to be able to manage this suitably - we trust you understand our position and encourage you to make contact with us as soon as possible so we can decide an appropriate course of action.

VAT deadlines

If your VAT quarter finished on 30th November, your VAT needs to be submitted by 7th January 2021- if you have not sent your records in please do so as a matter of urgency - all records must be received no later than the 4th January in order for us to be able to complete your return in time.

Hello & Goodbye

Hopefully you should be aware by now that we have warmly welcomed Aslihan to our Payroll team and we hope that you will support her as she gets to know you all and learn the ways of Sadler Davies.

With that, we also have to say goodbye to some dear members of staff.

Zoe has been part of the Sadler Davies & Co team for 14 years and we will greatly miss her knowledge and expertise, support, sincerity and loyalty not to mention her home baking skills!

We wish her all the best in her new Gardening venture and we are sure it will be a success!

We are also saying a fond farewell to Chris who retires this Christmas.

Chris has been with us on reception for 10 years and we will miss her support, genuineness and her laugh and sense of humour - thank you Chris and Zoe - we will celebrate and toast you on your way when the world resumes some normality next year but for now we send you off with our deepest thanks and heartfelt best wishes.

We hope you all have a Merry Christmas, albeit a different one this year, we hope you find peace, happiness and health and we look forward to seeing you in 2021!

We have not sent Christmas cards this year but instead we have donated to Crisis at Christmas.
